After working a 12 hour night shift, she would come home to make our birthday cakes or sew our Halloween costumes. She was an avid reader and kept up on current affairs. She was the best cook, decorator, gardener, dog mom and baker. Her butter tarts, pie crust, lasagna and risotto were sublime. Judy never gave up and was always cheerful and upbeat and was a trooper to her last hours.

FICK, Charles “Bud” Lewis –Peacefully at home in Port Dover on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in his 89th year. Beloved father of Cheri Witham , Barb Campbell , Jennifer Hammond-Fick, and Aaron Hammond-Fick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Earl Fick, brother George Fick, and son Steven Fick. He will be greatly missed by many dear friends and family both near and far.

Judy was born February 7, 1945 to Inez and Eugene Souchereau. Our family will provide your family with comfort, a warm place to share your grief with loved ones, and professional attention to the smallest detail. After graduating from Nursing School at Hotel Dieu Hospital she married Lino Colautti. They lived in and raised Amy and Karen in Forest Glade, Windsor, ON. The family moved to Port Dover in 1984. Shirley will be sadly missed by her brother Lorne , sons Ed and Rick, her daughters Brenda and Christine , her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He found out that he had cancer in February and it was terminal so he did all he could to enjoy life. He went golfing every day that Covid allowed. He bought a Harley and went on a few rides with his wife Tammi and many of his friends. He just said LIVE LIFE LARGE and IT IS WHAT IT IS. The picture was taken a few weeks ago when Derek Weaver was good enough to take Mick and his father out on the Cosley Bros.

Carolyn was a long time member of Port Dover Legion Branch #158 Ladies Auxiliary. For many years she travelled to Florida in the winter for a warm vacation. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when restrictions allow. Judy was a Registered Nurse for 36 years, first at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor, then at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe, ON, retiring 2002.

She had sooo many special friends – all loved and important but a special mention to June Barnett, friend for almost 60 years. Our beautiful loving mother, Oma, Great Oma, Great-Great Oma. She awaken’d from the dream of life to join her parents, siblings and “Cherie”, Jack, her husband, waiting since 1999. Six children, seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
